Job Description and Requirements
The Township of Mount Olive/Borough of Netcong Shared Court is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Deputy Municipal Court Administrator.  Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, organization, ability to work under pressure, and ability to work as a team member is a must.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: interacting with citizens, attorneys, and law enforcement officers; all phases of case processing; complying with the New Jersey Rules of Court, administrative directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operation of the Municipal Courts.  
Applicants who are not certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court or in the process of obtaining certification, or who are not fully accredited pursuant to R1:41-3 must be willing to obtain conditional accreditation within six months of hire and become fully accredited within three years of hire date.
The hiring process will comply with R.1:34-3, adopted September 13, 2011.
The Municipal Court office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.  The work week is 37.5 hours.  Monday afternoon court sessions that run past regular working hours result in overtime or other time compensation.  The successful candidate will be required to be on call on a rotating basis for arrests after business hours.

Job Opening: Diesel Mechanic

Position Type: Permanent Full-Time

Start Date: Within two weeks of hire

Salary: Starting salary of $57,500 plus benefits

Mount Olive Township is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position in the Township's in-house fleet maintenance department.

• Must provide ASE or other Certifications in heavy truck repair
• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair engine, transmission, ABS, and electrical issues on medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a licensed mechanic
• Heavy duty equipment experience
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Capable of performing all functions of a general mechanic
• Must be self-motivated, pay attention to detail, and work well on a team
• Must have basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office or similar application)
• Maintains commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Must be able to maintain clean work area
• Safety of the Township's police officers while operating fleet vehicles in emergency situations is the highest priority
• Assists in monitoring preventative maintenance programs
• Assists in ordering replacement parts and parts inventory
• Assist in maintaining an effective working relationship with fleet maintenance staff, vendors, and Township personnel
• Reports to Fleet Supervisor
• 90 Day probationary period

Job Opening: Senior Transportation Driver
Position Type: Part-Time “On-Call”
Salary: $13.50 per hour

Objective: Qualified applicant will be responsible for transport of seniors as needed in order to carry-out senior transportation needs; transports seniors and individuals with disabilities to medical appointments, and also deliver meals on wheels to shut in residents. Driver will submit daily mileage reports. Driver apprises supervisor of repairs needed on any of senior transportation vehicles. Driver will use a cellular phone to transmit communications related to emergency call situations, as well as the use of a 2-way communication system.
Must possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, knowledge of the proper methods of operating a vehicle; knowledge of highway safety principles and state and municipal laws; ability to make periodic safety check of the vehicle being operated; knowledge of common indications of their malfunctions and proper method of preventative maintenance.
