Resolutions: (20)

  • Authorizing a change order to the contract with Worldwide Industries, Corp. for the coating of two Oakwood Village water storage tanks

Change order resolution needed for a containment system to protect the cell antennas that are not able to be removed as per the contract.

  • Providing for the transfer of 2017 budget appropriations for the current fund budget

Standard budget transfers that are only allowed in the last two months of the year to cover expenditures.

  • Authorizing the sale of certain land and property which is no longer needed for public use by the Township (Block 7100 Lot 2)

Resolution authorizing auction of property located on Tinc Road with a minimum bid of $2,000.

  • Awarding a professional services agreement under the non-fair and open contracts in accordance with the Pay-to-Play Law (Izenberg Appraisal)

Resolution authorizing agreement not to exceed $5,000 to appraise Block 301, Lot 4 (3100 Continental Drive).  Open space property requires two independent appraisals. 

  • Approving a vendor service contract on a non-fair and open basis pursuant to the Pay-to-Play Law (United Rentals, Inc.) *REVISED

Resolution revising vendor service contract to include additional account number to be charged.

  • Approving a vendor service contract on a non-fair and open basis pursuant to the Pay-to-Play Law (Michael Schwartz)

Resolution authorizing contract for recreational services in accordance with the local public contracts law. 

  • Authorizing the use of a purchasing contract for 2017 (A&K Equipment Company Inc.)

Resolution authorizing the use of a State contract for snow plow parts in accordance with the local public contracts law. 

  • Approving a vendor service contract on a non-fair and open basis pursuant to the Pay-to-Play Law (Accuracy Electric)

Authorizing the use of a purchasing contract for electrician services.

  • Awarding a professional services agreement under the non-fair and open contracts law in accordance with Pay-to-Play Law (Koczan & Associates, LLC) *REVISED

Revising the agreement with environmental consultant to include electrical engineering services to update the technical specifications in the bid. 

  • Approving a vendor service contract on a non-fair and open basis pursuant to the Pay-to-Play Law (The Graphic Resource Systems, LLC)

Authorizing the use of a purchasing contract for a sign machine in the Road Department.

  • Awarding a professional service agreement under non-fair and open contracts in accordance with the Pay-to-Play Law (Barry J. Krauser, LLC)

Resolution authorizing agreement not to exceed $5,000 to appraise Block 301, Lot 4 (3100 Continental Drive).  Open space property requires two independent appraisals.

  • Awarding a professional service agreement to Barry J. Krauser, LLC in connection with the realty appraisal of Block 4400, Lot 4 otherwise known as Center Court under non-fair and open contract in accordance with Pay-to-Play Law *REVISED

Resolution revising a professional service agreement from Integra Realty Resources to Barry Krauser, LLC due to the sale of the company. 

  • Authorizing the cancellation of various water capital ordinance balances

Accounting mechanism to cancel old balances against authorized debt and returning money to water surplus.

  • Authorizing the cancellation of various general capital ordinance balances

Accounting mechanism to cancel old balances against authorized debt in the general budget.

  • Authorizing the cancellation of 2017 appropriations in the water utility fund

Accounting mechanism to cancel appropriations and return balances to water surplus.

  • Authorizing the cancellation of 2017 appropriations in the sewer utility fund

Accounting mechanism to cancel appropriations and return balances to sewer surplus.

  • Authorizing the sale of surplus property through public auction

Resolution authorizing an auction for various computer equipment and vehicles no longer needed for public use. 

  • Authorizing a lease agreement with the County of Morris for the rental space known as the Nutrition Site at the Mount Olive Senior Center for the year 2018

Resolution renewing the shared service lease agreement with Morris County for the use of the Senior Center as a Nutrition Site. 

  • Authorizing the execution of an interlocal services agreement between the Township of Mount Olive and the Borough of Mount Arlington for the provision of animal control services and animal cruelty investigator services

Resolution authorizing the shared service agreement with Mt. Arlington for $5,400 for a one year period.

  • Authorizing the execution of an interlocal services agreement between the Township of Mount Olive and Washington Township for the provision of animal control services and animal cruelty investigator services

Resolution renewing the shared service agreement with Washington for $6,100 for a one year period. 

Ordinance for First Reading: (3)

  • Amending Ordinance #28-2016 of the Township of Mount Olive entitled salaries of certain non-union personnel

Annual salary ordinance amending part time hourly wages for non-union employees for 2018

  • Amending Ordinance #27-16 which established salaries for the Mayor, Council, Department Heads, Supervisory Personnel and employees of the Township Clerk’s Office

Annual salary ordinance amending salaries for supervisory personnel for 2018.

  • To amend and supplement Chapter 550 “Land Use” to establish definitions and standards for a planned unit residential development for the FTZ-4 zone district

Amending the zoning code to include residential zoning in the FTZ-4 zone to allow for a mix of commercial, retail and residential use.
